Ryan Rossiter's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American-Japanese Forward Ryan Rossiter (206-F-1989) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Alvark Tokyo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 36-year old player recorded a triple-double of 15 points adding also 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team beat Kings (#3, 3-3) 92-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Alvark to consolidate first place in the East Asia Super League. Alvark Tokyo have a solid 4-1 record. Rossiter has many years of experience at Alvark, through which he has constantly improved. Former Siena College star has very solid stats this year. Rossiter is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 12.0rpg) and averages impressive 64.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Grant Jerrett (208-C-1993) of league's second-best Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya. Jerrett had a very good evening with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Tochigi Brex to edge slightly lower-ranked HK Eastern (#4, 2-4) 89-86. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tochigi Brex consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Jerrett is one of the most experienced players at Tochigi Brex and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Archie Goodwin (196-G-1994) of Taipei Fubon Braves (#3). Goodwin got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. Despite Goodwin's great performance the Braves lost 78-89 to #1 ranked Seoul Knights. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Fubon Braves ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Goodwin could help Fubon Braves to bring them higher in the standings. Goodwin has a great season in East Asia Super League. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.6ppg (best scorer).
